    This is pretty scary … and sad … “And it’s been shown in all kinds of clinical conditions that the average time it takes to get 95 percent adoption of a new evidence-based protocol is 15 to 17 years.”

      Hi Mark, Sorry for the late response.
      It is pretty sad that it takes so long for new/better methods to be implemented. Hopefully with continued research the evidence will over rule any political (hospital or otherwise) agenda and help reduce the mortality rate for both mothers and babies. Awareness of the issue I suppose is the first step.
